Station Master Simulation · last updated 5 October 2026

Station Master Simulation is a free game you play in your browser. There are no accounts. You may give yourself a station master name for greetings — it stays on your device and is never sent to us. The only personal detail you can send us is an email address — and only if you choose to add one to feedback you send (see below).

What stays on your device

Your progress (shifts unlocked, best scores, tutorial lessons done), your settings and — if you enter one — your station master name are saved in your own browser's storage. They are never sent anywhere; the name is not included in usage stats either. Clearing your browser's data for this site deletes them.

Anonymous usage stats — only if you allow them

When you first open the game we ask whether you'd like to share anonymous usage stats. If you say yes, the game uses Google Analytics (via the game's Firebase project) to record things like:

This tells us how many people play and where the game is confusing, so we can improve it. Advertising features and cross-device tracking are switched off. Google Analytics sets a cookie to count returning visits; see how Google uses this information.

If you say no, no stats are sent and the analytics script is not even loaded. You can change your choice at any time on the game's start screen under Settings → Anonymous usage stats.

Feedback you send

The game's Send feedback button lets you send us a message: a bug report, an idea, or what you think, with an optional 1–5 star rating. It is stored in the game's Firebase Realtime Database (Google Firebase), where only we can read it. Along with your message we store:

Please don't put other personal details in the message. To have feedback you sent deleted, send another message asking for it, saying roughly when you sent it and what it said.

Children

The game collects no personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top will change too. Questions: use the Send feedback button in the game.
